1. Children's painting festival "A Heart for Children" Zurich - 15.8.2021
DPD Switzerland and the support association for children with rare diseases invited to the 1st children's painting festival "A heart for children" in Zurich!
The 1st DPD Children's Malfestival "A Heart for Children" for the benefit of the association for children with rare diseases was a complete success! On 15.8.2021, Bürkliplatz Zurich was all about children and young people with a rare disease. The artist "Fredinko", music greats such as Nubya, G-Sax, Liz Schneider (white cello), Tante Carmen and DJ Enrico Lenardis rocked the painting festival together with more than 300 visitors and affected families. With the proceeds from the festival and the still active KMSK crowdfunding of the Förderverein für Kinder mit seltenen Krankheiten, we want to provide Leonie, 7 years old, rare disease, with a handicapped accessible bus. This is still to be financed with the current crowdfunding.link
The 1st DPD Children's Mafestival "A Heart for Children" in aid of the charity for children with rare diseases is already a thing of the past.

We would like to thank our valued partner DPD Switzerland for allowing us to set up this new project together. In particular Michelle Ammann as project manager on behalf of DPD Switzerland and Rutschi Sindico, who already actively supports the Love Ride Switzerland.
We would also like to thank the 300 or so young and old guests with whom we were able to enjoy this fantastic experience and the countless helpers who took so much care of the guests.
We were delighted that many KMSK families were also there. The artist Art of Fredinko, who pre-painted the picture within three days and then painted it with bright colors together with children and their parents in six hours.
Lynn Grütter accompanied us through the afternoon as an accomplished heart presenter. DJ Enrico Lenardis played great sound, G-Sax delighted the guests, as did Liz Schneider - Whitecello, @Tante Carmen and Nubya. And what child didn't want to be photographed with one of the cool superheroes from Cosplay Atelier!

Thanks to our KMSK crowdfunding and the 1st DPD Kinder-Malfestival, we hope to be able to hand over the super cool VW bus for Leonie's family in the next few weeks.
